    TeachBoost Insights provide simple yet powerful ways for instructional leaders to use the data within TeachBoost to save time and better support your staff. These insights directly align to the workflow or rubric used in your school or district. Features like the Teacher Competency Matrix allow you to quickly understand performance in a heat map like fashion. The Target Progress Insight demonstrates work that's been completed, and those observations left to do.

    It's been a wild summer for New York City's nearly 1800 public schools. TeachBoost has been hard at work to ensure we can help you manage the change to the city's teacher evaluation system. We've summarized all of the changes you'll notice this year.

  • TeachBoost Teacher Observation Updates

    The teacher observation process is one of the core pieces of TeachBoost, and through your feedback we've been able to update some of the workflow to make it very clear where each observation is in the process of ultimately delivering it to the teacher. These changes allow you to control each part of the process, from notifying your principal (or other stakeholders) to releasing the observation and notifying the teacher.

    Today marks the release of a dozen or so feature improvements, updates, and general bug fixes to TeachBoost, most of which are outlined below. Notable updates include a brand new goals page, the ability for teachers to complete forms, and fine tune control over how teachers interact with each form template.

  • New Letter Editor Gives Full Control Over Feedback

    For many schools, the final product of a teacher observation is a memo or letter to the teacher that contains feedback on the lesson. TeachBoost has always automated the generation of this letter from the comments that you provided during the observation; but as some of you noted this summer, sometimes it needs a final few tweaks to match the quality that teachers are expecting.
